The Express is a story/movie of an African-American who worked hard to reach his goal. As a kid he did not much had a thought of becoming a football superstar, all he did was run and run far from the kids who try bully him. But as he grew older and stronger he noticed that he had the talent and he realized that he was not running from those kids but his was running to a new world, change.
Change, where all human being, no matter what the color is, no matter what race, language, or culture, live in harmony, peace, justice and love.
I think Davis is more of that of Obama, I believe he wanted to make his fellow countrymen proud of what they are and what they can be.
Davis proved that there can be change if just face the obstacle, respect everyone, love and have faith. He made the world see that every human being has the right to live in peace. with no discrimination but respect and understanding should rule over all.
If all men will be respectful and understanding? I don't think we will face any obstacle in life that we cannot overcome...
